The first NFT house where the price is a secret until you choose to reveal it.
Every public marketplace shows every bid, every wallet, every price — forever. Privé borrows the auction house's oldest trick: sealed bids and private treaty sales, made possible on-chain by Canton's sub-transaction privacy, where only the parties to a trade ever see its terms.
What we borrowed from the real art world
Sealed & Absentee Bidding
Christie's and Sotheby's have run sealed and absentee bid auctions for centuries — bidders never see competing offers. Public chains made this impossible: every bid is a broadcast transaction. Canton's privacy model lets us record a bid as a contract visible only to the auction house and the bidder, exactly like a paddle raised in a private room.
Private Treaty Sale
Galleries sell major works quietly, off the public record, at a negotiated price. We replicate this: fixed-price listings can be negotiated privately between buyer and seller with terms invisible to the rest of the network.
Confidential Cap Table
Company shareholder registries are never public. Ownership history here works the same way — full provenance is provable to the parties involved, redacted to everyone else.
Escrow-Style Settlement
Real estate closings use a neutral escrow to guarantee atomic exchange of title for funds. Our settlement layer guarantees the same atomicity — asset and payment move together, or not at all — without a visible public mempool.
Invite-Only Viewing Rooms
Just as a dealer only shows certain collectors certain pieces, Private Galleries here are visible only to allow-listed parties — a first for on-chain collectibles.

Three Ways to Sell
Fixed Price Listing
Open, visible, instant — same as any marketplace today. Good for building a public floor price.
Private Treaty Sale
List a floor price publicly, negotiate the real price privately with a serious buyer — terms settle without ever becoming public.
Sealed-Bid Auction
Best for competitive, high-value lots — every bidder commits blind, only the winning bid and price are ever revealed.
Private Viewing Room
Collection: "Unindexed" — By Invitation Only
This room is visible to 14 allow-listed parties. Requesting access notifies the gallery owner off-chain; approval grants your party a viewing right, not a public listing.
